If you hate your job change it!!
thats what i did 18 months ago..made my mind up while sat on the shore of the
Kyle of Loch Alsh watching the sunset and enjoying a beer with my wife........
I worked too long in a place that was run by monkeys, and employed the same,
I stayed there far too long as anyone who knows me knows, and now im a happy bunny,
currently working for Cummins Turbo Technologies as a VG turbo assembler
Besides Photography i love to ride my mountain bike and partake in the odd pint of "real ale" as well as
the background images shows, and camera is often with me on rides.
The site design/layout and everything you see is done by myself, including spelling mistakes etc
I remember the first panoramic shot i took 25 years ago with a film camera and joining them together with sticky tape
The digital age then happened and instead of tape i use photoshop.
My panoramics are joined from between 4 and 6 images by hand to give upto a wide 180 degree view.
via trial and error i ruled out the autostitch software in favour of the control i get doing it by hand,
mistakes show up when printed out at 12x36 inch, and the autostitch software makes mistakes
I have been intrested in photography from a young age and with the coming of the digital age you can get really creative.
I started this site to show the natural beauty whats right on my doorstep, as well as some of the places i visit.
I am constantly trying to learn more to improve what i do, and doing various advanced photography
Courses, as well as forever tinkering with how the site looks and how it works
I leave personal details off the site for a couple of reasons, identity theft is one, the other is i want my
pictures to be the main thing, who i am is not important
